Group Managing Director
Victoria works closely with the board to set our strategic vision and ensures that this is achieved throughout the year. Victoria also works closely with suppliers and supports the rest of the team to achieve the business’ overall goals. Victoria joined us in 2004.
Victoria’s most favourite thing is Haagen Daz Salted Caramel Ice Cream – which she can devour by the tub load!
Group Finance Director
Paul has been with us since 2011 and is responsible for Group accounting and financial control functions, working with the Board and management supporting operations, sales, planning and strategy.
Paul once cycled from London to Brighton in a time of 16 hours. He’s not sure if this is a record, but at an average speed of 3.5 miles per hour, he was slightly slower than a brisk walk.
UK Managing Director
Alastair has been with Holders since 2013 and oversees the smooth running of the operations in Galashiels. This includes looking after our customer support, technical, finance and production teams.
In his spare time, Alastair enjoys walking his dog.
Business Development Director
Thomas’ role involves a bit of everything from Sales to Supplier Liaison to finding a spare minute to enjoy a cup of tea. Thomas joined the team in 2013.
When Thomas is not working he likes to fix things, usually Landrovers but also dumpers, mowers and diggers. If he’s not fixing things he’s making something, usually laser cutting parts or 3D printing.
Sales Manager (North)
Nicola joined us in 2017 as the Sales Manager for the UK North. Her main responsibilities involve working with her customers to deliver the right products for their projects and also introducing new technologies and products to her customers.
When Nicola isn’t driving around the country she loves playing badminton competitively. She also enjoys running cross country with her dog. Nicola once turned on the Christmas lights in Windsor when she was a special police lady.
Sales Manager (South)
Phil is our sales manager for the South of England and spends much of his time with customers working on integrated solutions and assemblies. Phil has over 10 years experience in the lighting industry and has been with Holders since 2014.
When Phil’s not on the road or on the phone he practices playing the guitar.
Sales Support Administrator
Jean has been with us since 2008 and deals with internal sales orders and enquiries. Jean is also responsible for purchasing and managing stock, packing, shipping and ensuring that our system has correct and up to date product information.
In her spare time, Jean attends a couple of dance classes a week and loves to walk. Jean also enjoys spending time with her three grand children, family and friends.
Sales Support Administrator
Deborah joined holders in 2017 and works within the administrative side of our Sales & Purchasing team. Her days are mainly filled with processing orders, completing and sending out quotations, despatch of items and purchasing.
When Deborah isn’t knee deep in paperwork she enjoys walking, baking and spending time with her dogs.
Tracey joined the team in 2016 and is responsible for all aspects of accounts along with organising travel arrangements for the team.
When Tracey is not head down in numbers she enjoys walking her dog. Tracey also enjoys cooking and socialising with friends.
Technical Operations Manager
Graeme is our technical guru! If there is anything that needs doing, Graeme is sure to know how to help whether it’s IT, technical support or project engineering, Graeme is always happy to assist.
When Graeme is not busy at work he enjoys mountain biking through the Scottish Borders.
Steve joined the Holders team in 2013 and has a number of vital responsibilities including assembling luminaires & testing and Factory machine maintenance.
In his spare time, Steve keeps tropical fish and enjoys repairing cars & motorbikes.
